Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of SSC Junior Engineer (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Quality and Quantity Surveying) has been defined by Staff Selection Commission (SSC). As per SSC JE exam patter, the exam will comprise of two papers- Paper-I and Paper-II. The SSC JE Paper-I will be a objective type test conducted in Computer Based Mode while SSC JE Paper-II is a conventional type test to be conducted in offline mode. Candidate who are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in Paper-I are called for Paper-II

SSC JE EXAM PATTERN OF PAPER-I

The Paper-I exam of SSC JE comprised of General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Part-A General Engineering (Civil & Structure) OR Part-B General Engineering (Electrical) OR Part-C General Engineering (Mechanical). The total marks allotted to SSC JE Paper-I is 200. There was negative marks of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I. The SSC JE Paper-I result has been announced on June 5, 2017 for those candidates who have scored minimum qualifying  marks out of total 200 marks. The SSC JE Paper-I exam was conducted from March 1 to 4, 2017.
